Allison C. Macken, 58, of Hamilton died Thursday, December 5, 2019 at home. Born in Salt Lake City, Utah, she grew up in Manhattan Beach, CA, and lived in Germany, Oakland, CA and Salt Lake City before moving to Plainsboro in 1990 and Hamilton in 2012. Allison was employed for many years as a Paramedic and Educator with the Capital Health System, Trenton where she was commended by her peers and students alike for her expertise, caring nature and investment in her students. She was also a volunteer with the Plainsboro Rescue Squad.
Daughter of the late Thomas Carter, mother of the late Christine Macken, she is survived by her daughter Samantha A. Macken, her mother Leslie Reynolds Benns, a brother Thomas (Luisa Marie) Carter, sister Jennifer (Jim) Lindberg, nephews Thomas, Travis and Tyler Carter and nieces Brighton, Emma and Kate Lindberg as well as countless extended family.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Mather-Hodge Funeral Home, Princeton.
